Benefit application---- we will be directing clients to the DDC public website in order to apply for housing benefits and direct them to the same site to complete change of circumstances.
Council tax---- we will direct clients to the DDC public website and assist those who have problems with their council tax applications.
Parking fines and appeals----- we will direct clients to the DDC public website as we do now in order for them to pay or appeal fines.
Parking permits--- we will direct clients to the DDC public website to apply for the permits themselves.
Housing issues--- we will direct clients to East Kent Housing public website in order to complete a form for their issues and assist if needed as we do now.
Council tax----- no payments taken at all. Issues with bills we will deal with as we do now, nothing new, and no access to any DDC client files.
Give out food vouchers.
We will hold a stock of purple plastic waste bags nothing else. These are given away free on presentation of a letter from the council. (DDC say we must do it this way)
We will take no payments in cash or by card
We will have no access to any council files, sites or client info.
